Life post-college. Rough.

Wahhh. Birthday rave was fun. Take me back.

I also truly believe that everything happens because of the string of choices we make in life.  My life, is a perfect example of it: 

If I wouldn’t have not gotten into the dance program in at a university in New York that I had my heart set on, I would not have gone to school freshman year in Chicago.  If I wouldn’t have changed my life plan and decided that I wanted to switch from a Dance major to a Communication Major, I wouldn’t have ended up back in Duluth at UMD.  If I wouldn’t have known people in Chicago from freshman year, I probably wouldn’t have applied for the internship in Chicago that I did.  If I didn’t get my internship in Chicago two years ago, than I wouldn’t have had the internship again for a second summer. And if I didn’t have that internship again for a second summer, than I wouldn’t have got hired full time by that company, be moving to Chicago in 25 days after I graduate college, and starting a whole new adventure that I have always dreamed of living.  

Life has a funny way of working out sometimes, but I’m glad things happened the way they did :)

Still thinking about the invisible red thread theory.  I believe in it so much.  Some people believe that there isn’t just one person that you are destined to be with, and that when you meet another person and you are both in the right place in life at the right time and are ready to settle down and can make it work with that person, that you will be with them.

….but I don’t believe that at all.  I don’t believe in being with someone knowing that if some other person would have came around at the right time that I would feel the same way about them like I do about the person I was currently with.  Why would I feel good about loving someone if it were true that there was someone else out there that I could love just as much.  It’s just not true.  So not true.

I still believe in the invisible red thread theory. You should too.

An ancient Chinese Proverb says that an invisible red thread connects those destined to meet, regardless of time, place, or circumstances. The thread may stretch or tangle, but never break.

I am a firm believer in this theory.
